Sea Bass in the Classroom (4/9)
San Diego CA, USA. 7th, December 2015: Mission Bay High School Seniors Matt Warner and Alina Snyder look on as student Pearl Moore holds a juvenile white sea bass as student teacher Carrie Gonzalez uses a wand to read a chip embedded in the fishes cheek. The school is one of the first schools in the state to participate in the Seabass in the Classroom Project, which is a collaboration between Hubbs-Sea World Research Institute and the California Department of Fish and Game.
